WE ARE A RED CROSS SHELTER!

Deer Creek has been designated a Red Cross Shelter in the event of a disaster, crisis or community need.  Our shelter is not just for an incident that occurs only in our area. It will be used when needed for any disasters or crisis that may happen in other areas around us for displaced families and others who need assistance not available in their immediate location. The Red Cross will be there to oversee and set up shelter, but volunteers will also be needed to help in order to carry out the mission.  If you would like to receive training so you can be a Red Cross Shelter volunteer, please contact the Church Office.

The Place - Forsyth County - 4 times a yr (March, June, August & Nov), preparing and serving lunch to 100 people in our community that are in need.
